Basic Call Features
Placing a call
Using the handset:
- Pick up the handset.
- Enter the number/extension, press the Send softkey or wait for the call to start.
Using the speakerphone:
- With the handset on-hook, dial the number/extension you wish to call.
- Press the Speaker button.
Using the headset:
- With the headset connected, dial the number/extension you wish to call.
- Press the Headset button.
Note: During a call, you can alternate between the headset, hands-free speakerphone and handset modes by pressing the Headset key, Speaker button or picking up the handset.
Answering a call
Using the handset:
Pick up the handset.
Using speakerphone:
Press the Speaker button.
Using the headset:
Press the Headset button.
Ending a Call
Using the handset:
Hang up the handset or press the End Call soft key.
Using the speakerphone:
Press the Speaker button or press the End Call soft key.
Using the headset:
Press the End Call soft key.
Call Mute and Un-mute
Press the Mute button to mute the microphone during a call.
Press the Mute button again to un-mute the call.
Call Hold and Resume
Note: Call hold is only available while you are on an active call.
To place a call on hold:
Press the Hold soft key during an active call.
To resume the call, do one of the following:
- If there is only one call on hold, press the Resume soft key.
- If there is more than one call on hold, press Up or Down to select the desired call, and then press the Resume soft key.
Call Transfer
You can transfer a call in the following ways:
Blind Transfer
- Press the Transfer soft key during an active call. The call is placed on hold.
- Enter the number you want to transfer to.
- Press the B Trans soft key.
Attended/Soft Transfer
- Press the Transfer soft key during an active call. The call is placed on hold.
- Enter the number you want to transfer to, and then press the Send soft key.
- Speak to the other party, when ready to complete the transfer press the Transfer soft key.
Call Conference
- Press the Conf soft key during an active call. The call is placed on hold.
- Enter the number of the second party and then press the Send soft Key.
- Press the Conf soft key again when the second party answers. All parties are now joined in the conference.
- Press the End Call soft key to disconnect all parties.
Advanced Call Features
Call Parking
You can park a call in the following ways:
Call Park
- Press the More soft key during an active call. Select the Park soft key.
- Enter the extension you want to park the call to.
- Press the Park soft key.
Group Call Park
- Press the More soft key during an active call. Select the GPark soft key.
- The automated attendant will tell you the extension the call was parked on.
Call Park Retrieve
- Dial *68 and the extension you are retrieving the call from.
Hoteling
Note: While hoteling the Group Park feature will not work.
Logging in on a host device
- Press the GuestIn soft key.
- Enter your full user ID and password.
- Select the Login soft key.
- The device will update to show your extension, you will then make/receive calls as your own extension instead of the host device.
Logging out of a host device
- Press the GuestOut soft key.
